In this episode of our Spiritual Warfare series, Brandon takes a closer look at the Shield of Faith and why it is so important in the spiritual battles we face every day. Scripture warns us that the enemy will fire flaming arrows in our direction—arrows of fear, doubt, temptation, discouragement, confusion, and accusation. But God has not left us defenseless. He has given us faith as a shield capable of extinguishing every flaming arrow the enemy sends against us.
The Shield of Faith is not about pretending that our struggles are not real or convincing ourselves that nothing bad will ever happen. It means choosing to trust God even when we cannot see what He is doing. It means holding tightly to His character, His promises, and His Word when our feelings and circumstances tell us to give up. Faith reminds us that God is still faithful, still present, and still in control.
Brandon explains how we can strengthen our faith through prayer, Scripture, obedience, and remembering the times God has already carried us through. The enemy may continue firing, but we do not have to panic, retreat, or surrender. We can raise the Shield of Faith, stand firmly on God’s promises, and trust Him through every battle.
Stay alert. Stay grounded in the Word. Keep your armor on. And as always, keep watching the signs, keep exposing the shadows, and keep your eyes on Jesus.

In this episode of the Spiritual Warfare series, “The Shoes of Peace,” we explore what it means to have our feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. Spiritual warfare often brings fear, confusion, conflict, anxiety, and uncertainty, but Jesus offers a peace that keeps us grounded when everything around us feels unstable.
The shoes of peace do not promise that our path will always be easy or free from trouble. They prepare us to stand firm when pressure comes, move forward without being controlled by fear, and follow God wherever He leads. When our confidence is rooted in the gospel—the good news of what Jesus has done for us—we can face difficult circumstances knowing that we are forgiven, reconciled to God, and never walking alone.
We’ll also discuss how God’s peace guards our hearts and minds, helps us respond to conflict with wisdom, and keeps the enemy from knocking us off balance. This piece of armor is not only about experiencing peace ourselves; it also makes us ready to carry the hope of Jesus into a fearful and divided world.
Join us as we learn how to stand steady, walk confidently, and remain prepared to share the gospel of peace wherever God sends us.

In the final episode of the Rapture Ready series, titled “Be Ready,” Bud brings everything together with one urgent question: If Jesus returned today, would you truly be ready?
Being ready isn’t about setting dates, living in fear, or becoming consumed by every headline. It means genuinely knowing Jesus Christ, trusting in what He accomplished on the cross, turning away from sin, forgiving others, sharing the Gospel, teaching your children, knowing God’s Word, and living faithfully every day. Readiness is not something we save for a future crisis—it should shape how we live right now.
Bud explains what Jesus meant when He told His followers to watch, stay awake, and keep their lamps filled with oil. He also challenges believers to examine their hearts, get their homes in spiritual order, and stop putting off the things God has already called them to do. We may not know the day or the hour of Christ’s return, but we can recognize the season and choose to live prepared.
This closing episode is not meant to create panic—it is a final call to repentance, faithfulness, courage, and hope. Jesus is coming again. The question is not whether we have figured out the exact date. The question is whether He will find us faithful when He comes.
Watch the signs. Expose the shadows. And above all—be ready.

In this episode of the Rapture Ready series, titled “Know Your Bible,” Bud explains why knowing God’s Word is essential for every believer who wants to remain spiritually prepared. The Bible is more than a book we occasionally read—it is the foundation of our faith, the standard by which we test every message, and the truth that guides us through a world filled with confusion, compromise, false teaching, and spiritual deception.
Bud discusses the importance of personally reading, studying, memorizing, and applying Scripture instead of relying entirely on pastors, podcasts, social media, or other people to tell us what God says. When we truly know the Bible, we become better equipped to recognize deception, resist temptation, answer difficult questions, share the Gospel, and remain faithful when our beliefs are challenged.
No one knows the day or hour of Christ’s return, but believers are called to watch, remain alert, and live prepared. Knowing your Bible helps keep your faith grounded, your spiritual discernment sharp, and your lamp filled with oil. The time to build a strong foundation in God’s Word is not when trouble begins—it is right now.
Watch the signs. Expose the shadows. Stay ready.

In this episode of the Rapture Ready series, “Teach Your Children,” Bud discusses the God-given responsibility parents and guardians have to prepare their children spiritually and biblically for the world they are growing up in—and ultimately for the return of Jesus Christ. The world is constantly competing for their hearts and minds, so we cannot leave their spiritual foundation to chance.
Bud shares practical ways to make faith part of everyday family life through reading Scripture, praying together, answering difficult questions honestly, teaching children to recognize deception, and showing them what it looks like to genuinely follow Jesus. Preparing children means more than simply taking them to church; it means helping them understand the Gospel, develop their own relationship with Christ, and learn how to stand firmly on God’s Word when their faith is challenged.
This episode is not about creating fear or predicting a date for Christ’s return. It is about raising children who know where their hope comes from, understand what they believe, and are ready to remain faithful no matter what happens. Our children need more than temporary success—they need an eternal foundation.

In this episode of the Rapture Ready series, titled “Stop Playing With Sin,” Bud delivers a direct and timely message about the dangers of allowing sin to remain unchecked in our lives. Sin may begin with a seemingly small compromise, a secret habit, or an excuse we keep making—but over time, it can harden the heart, weaken our relationship with God, damage our families, and affect the people around us.
Bud explains why Christians cannot treat casually what Jesus gave His life to save us from. This message is not about claiming perfection or living under constant condemnation. It is about recognizing the seriousness of sin, responding to the conviction of the Holy Spirit, and understanding the difference between struggling against sin and willingly making peace with it.
With biblical truth and practical examples, this episode encourages believers to examine their lives honestly, bring hidden struggles into the light, repent without delay, and remove the habits, influences, and temptations that keep pulling them away from God. Jesus offers forgiveness, freedom, and the strength to live differently—but we must be willing to surrender every part of our lives to Him.
The return of Christ is not something believers should fear, but it is something we must be prepared for. Now is the time to stop making excuses, stop feeding the flesh, and start living with a heart that is fully committed to Jesus.

In this episode of the Rapture Ready series, titled “Tell Someone About Jesus,” Bud teaches why sharing our faith is not only the responsibility of pastors, missionaries, or evangelists—it is a calling given to every follower of Jesus Christ.
You do not need a microphone, a ministry title, or all the answers to tell someone about Jesus. You can share your personal testimony, explain the simple truth of the Gospel, show the love of Christ through your actions, and be ready when God opens the door for a conversation. Bud offers practical encouragement for overcoming fear, recognizing everyday opportunities, and speaking the truth with both courage and compassion.
Someone in your family, workplace, school, or community may be searching for the hope you have already found. Tomorrow is not promised, and the return of Christ could happen at any time. We are not setting dates—we are watching, praying, keeping our lamps filled with oil, and using the time God has given us to reach the lost.
The question is not whether you know enough to begin. The question is: Who has God placed in your life who needs to hear about Jesus?
Stay alert. Stay grounded in the Word. Keep watching the signs—and exposing the shadows.

If you suddenly were not here tomorrow, would your family know what to do—and would your home reflect the faith you claimed to live?
In this episode of the Rapture Ready series, titled “Get Your House in Order,” Bud discusses what it means to establish biblical order in your home. Being ready for the return of Christ is not only about watching world events. It is also about examining how we lead our families, manage our responsibilities, handle our finances, and honor God in our everyday lives.
Bud offers practical, biblical guidance for making Christ the foundation of your household. That includes praying together, studying Scripture, teaching your children the truth, resolving conflicts, removing sinful influences, managing money responsibly, and making sure your family understands the Gospel. Biblical order does not mean demanding control—it means serving, leading by example, accepting responsibility, and creating a home where God is honored.
This episode also explores practical ways to prepare in case you were suddenly no longer here. Would your loved ones know where to find important documents, account information, insurance policies, financial instructions, emergency contacts, and final wishes? Have you left clear guidance for your children and family? Most importantly, have you left behind a Bible, a written testimony, and a clear explanation of the Gospel for anyone searching for answers?
Preparing these things is not living in fear or attempting to predict a date. It is an act of love, wisdom, and faithful stewardship. None of us is promised tomorrow, and unfinished responsibilities can become a heavy burden for those we leave behind.
Jesus is coming again. Now is the time to bring your spiritual life, your relationships, your responsibilities, and your household into order.

Is there someone you still refuse to forgive? Are you holding onto anger, bitterness, or the desire to make them pay for what they did?
In this episode of the Rapture Ready series, titled “Forgive People Now,” Bud explores what the Bible teaches about forgiving others and why forgiveness is so important in the life of every believer. Jesus did not present forgiveness as an optional part of Christianity. Those who have received God’s mercy are called to extend mercy to others—even when the hurt is deep and the person responsible has never apologized.
Bud explains what biblical forgiveness truly means and what it does not mean. Forgiving someone does not excuse their actions, erase necessary consequences, require immediate trust, or force you to remain in an abusive or dangerous situation. Forgiveness means releasing personal vengeance, surrendering the offense to God, and refusing to allow bitterness to control your heart.
This episode also examines the connection between God’s forgiveness of us and our willingness to forgive others. Through Christ, we have been forgiven of a debt we could never repay. Because of that grace, believers are called to forgive—not because the offender deserves it, but because Christ has forgiven us.
Forgiveness may be painful, and healing may take time, but carrying bitterness will only keep you chained to the wound. Jesus is coming again, and now is the time to release old grudges, seek peace where possible, and make sure your heart is ready to meet Him.
